We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 7-10 years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in SAP FI/CO, along with practical experience in Indian taxation, GST, statutory requirements, and tax-related configurations.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Controlling (CO)
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Handle SAP FICO implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user documentation.
- Provide hands-on support for month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Work closely with business users, technical teams, and other SAP functional consultants.




- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO issues within agreed SLAs.
- Support integration of FICO with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
- Participate in requirement gathering, process mapping, UAT, training, and go-live activities.

Indian Taxation & GST Mandatory :

- Strong hands-on experience with Indian taxation and GST processes in SAP.
- Experience with GST configuration and related business processes.
- Good understanding of:
- CGST, SGST, IGST and UTGST
- Input Tax Credit (ITC)
- GST tax codes and tax determination
- Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM)
- TDS/TCS
- Vendor and customer taxation
- Tax postings and reconciliation
- GST reporting and statutory requirements
- Experience handling GST-related issues, tax configuration, testing, and production support.
- Understanding of Indian statutory accounting and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

- 7–10 years of relevant experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO configuration.
- Good knowledge of Indian accounting practices and financial processes.
- Robust experience in Indian taxation and GST.
- Experience in SAP implementation/support projects.
- Good understanding of FI integration with MM and SD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred :

- Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days are highly preferred.
- SAP certification in FICO is an added advantage.
- Experience in S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
- Exposure to SAP GST solutions/localization and statutory reporting will be an advantage.
