Vendor Manager / Project Manager Localisation | Night Shift

We are looking for a proactive and organised Vendor Manager / Project Manager to handle localisation projects, vendor coordination, resource management, client requirements, and end-to-end project execution during the night shift.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the Localization, Translation, Language Services, AI Data Services, or similar industry and should be comfortable managing multiple projects, vendors, linguists, freelancers, deadlines, and client requirements simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

- Manage localisation and language-service projects from initiation to final delivery.
- Understand client requirements, scope, timelines, quality expectations, and project instructions.
- Allocate projects to suitable linguists, translators, reviewers, transcribers, voice artists, annotators, and other resources.
- Create and maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Track project progress and regularly follow up with resources.
- Coordinate with internal teams, QA teams, vendors, and clients.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Review deliverables before final submission wherever required.
- Identify project risks, delays, or resource issues and take corrective action.
- Maintain project trackers, reports, documentation, and client updates.
- Support projects related to Translation, Localisation, Transcription, Subtitling, Voice-Over, Dubbing, AI Data Collection, Annotation, LLM Evaluation, and other language/AI services.

Vendor Management
- Source and onboard translators, linguists, freelancers, agencies, voice artists, annotators, and other specialised resources.
- Build and maintain a solid multilingual vendor database.




- Negotiate rates, availability, timelines, and commercial terms with vendors.
- Verify vendor experience, language expertise, quality, and project suitability.
- Maintain vendor profiles, contracts, NDAs, rates, performance records, and availability.
- Develop resources for new and rare languages based on project requirements.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors and maintain professional relationships.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, responsiveness, reliability, and delivery.
- Maintain backup resources for ongoing and urgent projects.
- Support urgent resource requirements during night-shift operations.

Candidate Profile
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Vendor Management, Localisation, Language Services, or AI Data Services.
- Candidates with experience working with an LSP / Localisation Company will be highly preferred.
- Strong ownership and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with international clients and vendors.
- Willingness to work permanently in the Night Shift.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
