Key Responsibilities / Tasks:

- Develop robust applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spark, Big Query.

- Write clean, productive, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.

- Develop and consume effective REST API.

- Develop and manage complex database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL.

- Write and optimize advanced SQL/PL-SQL scripts for data manipulation and retrieval.

- Analyze and enhance application and database performance to ensure scalability.

- Work proficiently in a Unix/Linux environment, including shell scripting and system commands.

- Handle complex data formats, including efficient XML parsing and processing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

- 8 + years of proven experience as a Java & Oracle Developer in a hands-on, individual contributor role.

- Expert-level proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot, with extensive experience building robust REST APIs.





- Deep expertise in Oracle databases, including designing and developing complex packages, stored procedures, and functions with SQL/PLSQL.

- Demonstrated ability in SQL/PLSQL performance optimization and advanced query tuning.

- Hands-on experience developing applications for distributed platforms such as Hadoop/Spark.

- Familiarity with modern cloud and data platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Big Query.

- Proficiency in a Unix/Linux environment, including shell scripting and file handling.

- Proven experience working within an Agile development methodology.

- Experience using AI code assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini) to enhance productivity and code quality.

- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design to deployment.
