About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our technology team in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining reliable data pipelines and scalable data infrastructure that support analytics, reporting and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Develop and optimize data models, databases and data processing solutions.
- Work with large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, reliability and security.
- Develop efficient SQL queries and data transformation processes.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, Software Engineers and business stakeholders.
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Contribute to cloud-based data engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Follow best practices for documentation, testing, version control and data governance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a closely related role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL .
- Experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform .




- Experience with databases, data warehouses or distributed data systems.
- Knowledge of tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Spark or similar technologies is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, professional environment.

Compensation Indicative salary: €4,500–€6,500 gross per month, depending on experience, skills, seniority and employer.

The final compensation package will be confirmed by the hiring employer and may vary by location and experience.

Candidates must meet the qualifications and experience requirements for the position and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands , or be eligible for any applicable employer-sponsored work authorization where the hiring employer offers it.
