Position: Account Assistant / Junior Accountant

Location: Manamadurai (Food & Accomodation will be provided)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts professional to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the smooth financial operations of the organization. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, handling reconciliations, and supporting statutory and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

· Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expenses.

· Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, payment and receipt vouchers.

· Maintain cash, bank, customer, and vendor accounts.

· Check bills, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.

· Prepare basic accounting reports, including sales, purchase, receivable, and payable reports.

· Assist in preparing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.





· Maintain proper accounting records and documents.

· Identify and correct accounting errors when required.

· Support the Senior Accountant/Finance team in daily accounting activities.

Required Skills

· Good knowledge of basic accounting.

· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and formulas.

· Good communication skills.

· Good attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work independently.

· Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualification

· Candidates should hold a B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or BBM degree with a specialization or academic background in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in accounting and finance are also encouraged to apply.
