Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused Admission Counselor who can engage with prospective students and parents, understand their academic requirements, recommend suitable programs, and guide them through the admission process. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, counseling, follow-up, and relationship-building skills, preferably with experience in the education or EdTech sector.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling

- Connect with prospective students and parents to understand their academic requirements, goals, and expectations.
- Provide personalized guidance on suitable courses, programs, and learning pathways.
- Explain program features, eligibility criteria, and other relevant information clearly.
- Address queries and build strong relationships with prospective students and parents.

Lead Engagement Follow-ups

- Handle assigned leads through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with interested students and parents.
- Schedule counseling sessions and demo classes.
- Maintain consistent engagement throughout the decision-making process.

Admission Support

- Guide students and parents through the complete admission process.




- Assist with application forms and required documentation.
- Address fee-related and admission-related queries.
- Ensure timely completion of enrollment formalities.
- Provide a smooth and positive admission experience.

CRM Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, follow-ups, and enrolment status in the CRM.
- Update daily activity reports and lead status.
- Track follow-ups and ensure timely closure of assigned leads.
- Meet defined counseling and enrolment targets.

Qualifications

Skills Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in admission counseling, student counseling, customer engagement, inside sales, or a similar role.
- Experience in the Education/EdTech sector will be preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand student/parent requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Ability to handle multiple leads in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Comfortable working independently in a WFH environment.
