Key Responsibilities

- Operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, lorries, trailers, and other commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.

- Transport goods, materials, and equipment to designated locations as per delivery schedules.

- Follow assigned routes and ensure timely delivery and collection of materials.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

- Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential components.

- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and securement of cargo.

- Maintain all required vehicle documents, permits, insurance, and driving records.

- Follow all road traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.

- Report accidents, breakdowns, vehicle defects, or other incidents immediately to the concerned supervisor.

- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.

- Coordinate with the logistics/transport team regarding delivery schedules and route requirements.

- Obtain delivery acknowledgements and maintain necessary delivery documents.

- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate with mechanics when repairs are required.

- Ensure the safety and security of the vehicle, cargo, and other road users.

- Perform any other transport-related duties assigned by management.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Heavy Driving Licence.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle driving is preferred.

- Good knowledge of road safety rules and traffic regulations.

- Knowledge of local and interstate routes is an advantage.

- Ability to handle long-distance driving and different road conditions.

- Physically fit and capable of performing loading/unloading-related assistance when required.

- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and safety-conscious.

Working Conditions

- May involve long-distance and extended-hour driving.

- May require working on weekends, holidays, or outside normal working hours depending on operational requirements.

- Must be prepared to travel to different locations as required by the company.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
