We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head - Supply Chain & Logistics to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless product availability across stores, warehouses, and distribution channels while driving operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Leadership & Strategy

- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business growth objectives and expansion plans.
- Lead and manage supply chain functions, including inventory planning, warehousing, logistics, procurement, and store replenishment.
- Establish operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams to support business growth and operational excellence.

Inventory Management & Demand Planning
- Ensure optimum inventory availability across all stores and distribution centers while minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Drive demand forecasting and replenishment planning based on sales trends, customer demand, seasonality, and promotions.
- Monitor inventory turns, stock aging, shrinkage, and wastage to improve inventory productivity.
- Implement robust inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and product availability.

Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
- Improve warehouse productivity, order accuracy, storage utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely replenishment of products to stores and support omnichannel fulfillment requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, storage compliance, and inventory handling.

Logistics & Distribution Management




- Manage transportation and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries to stores and warehouses.
- Optimize logistics routes, fleet utilization, and transportation costs.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with logistics partners and third-party service providers.
- Drive service-level improvements and ensure on-time deliveries.

Procurement & Vendor Management
- Partner with suppliers, manufacturers, farmers, and distributors to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, lead times, and service agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and implement corrective actions to improve supply reliability.
- Collaborate with Category and Buying teams to improve sourcing efficiency and profitability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Category, Retail Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Technology teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Support recent store launches, expansion projects, and network growth initiatives.
- Ensure effective coordination between demand planning, procurement, warehousing, and store operations.

Data Analytics & Performance Management
- Track and analyze key supply chain metrics including:
- Inventory Turnover
- Fill Rates
- Stock Availability
- On-Time Delivery
- Logistics Cost
- Warehouse Productivity
- Wastage Control
- Supplier Performance
- Provide regular MIS reports and strategic insights to leadership.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, warehouse standards,



and company policies.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through ERP, WMS, and supply chain automation tools.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on service, cost, and operational excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Inventory Management, or Retail Operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within Retail, Grocery, Food Retail, FMCG, Modern Trade, or Supermarket chains.
