Role & Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced and agile Head Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO) to lead and oversee the complete operations of our Guntur Centre. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, regulatory understanding and the ability to drive the organisations RPTO training, business and strategic objectives.

The Head will have overall responsibility for centre operations, training delivery, regulatory compliance, team leadership, business development, stakeholder management, safety and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the RPTO and Guntur Centre.
- Take complete ownership of centre performance, operations and business objectives.
- Lead and manage Remote Pilot Training programmes and ensure high-quality training delivery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable DGCA, RPTO, aviation and safety requirements.
- Lead and coordinate Remote Pilot Instructors, trainers, administrative and operational teams.
- Oversee student admissions, batch planning, training schedules, assessments and certification processes.
- Establish and maintain strong operational systems, processes, documentation and MIS.
- Ensure readiness and proper maintenance of drones, training equipment, infrastructure and facilities.
- Monitor training quality, learner experience, safety standards and operational KPIs.
- Develop strategic partnerships with government departments, educational institutions, corporates and industry stakeholders.
- Drive business development, institutional tie-ups, corporate training and new revenue opportunities.
- Lead budgeting, resource planning and centre-level financial performance.
- Recruit, mentor, develop and evaluate team members.




- Represent the organisation before clients, institutions, industry partners and regulatory stakeholders.
- Identify emerging opportunities in Drone Technology, UAV/UAS, Remote Pilot Training and Skill Development.
- Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Build the Guntur Centre into a high-performing and professionally managed RPTO training hub.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Graduate/Postgraduate with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven leadership experience in RPTO, Drone Technology, UAV/UAS, Aviation, Training, Skill Development or Centre Operations.
- Candidates with prior experience heading an RPTO, aviation training centre, skill development centre or business unit will be strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of DGCA/RPTO regulatory processes, aviation safety and training operations.
- Strong leadership, people management, business development and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and decision-making abilities.
- Strong commercial and operational orientation with the ability to achieve business targets.
- Ability to independently lead the centre and take complete ownership of operations and outcomes.
- Relevant drone, aviation, RPTO or Remote Pilot certifications will be an added advantage.
