The Head of Facility Management oversees the strategic and operational management of all site facilities, including technical infrastructure, utilities, and security systems, to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable work environments. This role is responsible for developing policies, managing budgets, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

1. Facility Management & Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all company facilities (offices, workshop, warehouses, etc.)
- Develop and implement facility management strategies, policies, and standards aligned with corporate goals
- Ensure regular maintenance and optimal operation of buildings, equipment, and systems (HVAC, lighting, elevators, fire suppression, etc.)
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for facility-related services

1. Technical Facilities & Utilities Management

- Supervise the operation and maintenance of all technical installations and infrastructure
- Oversee the management of utilities (electricity, water, gas, compressed air, IT networks, etc.)
- Lead energy management initiatives to improve efficiency and support sustainability targets
- Coordinate facility upgrades, refurbishments, and critical repairs

1. Security Management

- Ensure robust physical security of all premises, including the installation and maintenance of access control, CCTV, alarm, and monitoring systems




- Develop and maintain emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required
- Lead security awareness initiatives and staff training

1. Waste Management

- Ensure proper implementation of waste management policies in compliance with legal and internal regulations.
- Lead programs for waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable waste disposal.
- Ensure that hazardous and non-hazardous waste is handled, stored, and disposed according to best practices, with health, safety, and environmental considerations prioritized.

1. Compliance, Health & Safety

- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health & safety regulations
- Undertake regular risk assessments, site inspections, and audits
- Participate actively in safety committees and incident investigations

1. Team Leadership & Budgeting

- Lead, mentor, and develop the facility management team, including technical and security staff
- Define resource needs and manage departmental budget, controlling costs and optimizing resources
- Prepare reports for senior management with KPIs, incident logs, and recommendations for improvement

1. Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary interface with internal departments regarding facility needs and services
- Lead cross-functional projects related to facilities, utilities, and security

Qualifications & Experience





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- 20+ years of progressive experience in facility management in an industrial environment (Experience in Aviation industry will be an added advantage)
- Knowledge of building systems, utility management, and security infrastructure
- Strong understanding of relevant health & safety, legal, and environmental regulations
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
