? We're Hiring | Head of Accounts | Tekstar Distribution India

Tekstar Distribution India is looking for a strong, experienced Head of Accounts to lead our finance function and partner with management on financial discipline, business profitability, working capital efficiency, and sustainable growth.

This is a key leadership role for someone who goes beyond routine accounting and owns the complete finance function — from reporting and compliance to cash flow, controls, taxation, budgeting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting & Compliance – Oversee preparation of financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) per Ind AS/IFRS; ensure statutory compliance (Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS)
- Books of Accounts – Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and month/year-end closing
- Audit Management – Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits; liaise with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations
- Budgeting & MIS – Prepare annual budgets, variance analysis, and periodic MIS reports for management decision-making
- Cash Flow & Treasury – Manage working capital, banking relationships, fund flow planning, and treasury operations




- Taxation – Ensure accurate, timely direct/indirect tax filings, assessments, and tax planning
- Internal Controls – Design and enforce SOPs, internal financial controls (IFC), and risk mitigation frameworks
- Team Leadership – Lead and mentor the accounts team; allocate responsibilities and build capability
- Regulatory Liaison – Handle interactions with auditors, tax authorities, ROC, and other regulators
- Cost Control – Monitor costs, identify efficiency opportunities, and support profitability improvement
- Systems & Process Improvement – Drive automation/ERP implementation for accounting processes

Key Skills & Qualifications
- CA Inter with 5–6 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Experience with ERP systems – Tally / Busy
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to take ownership and work closely with senior management
- Salary: 9–10 LPA
