Job Summary:

The Global Engagement Head will provide strategic leadership for the university's internationalization and global engagement initiatives. The role will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships with leading international universities, academic institutions, research organizations, industry bodies, government agencies, and other global stakeholders. The incumbent will drive international student and faculty mobility, student exchange programs, joint academic initiatives, collaborative research, international conferences, and global learning opportunities.

The position will also support the development and implementation of international recruitment and outreach strategies to enhance the university's global presence and attract high-quality international students and faculty.

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop strategic partnerships with international universities, institutions, government bodies, and industry organizations.
2. Drive student and faculty exchange programs, international mobility, and global learning opportunities.
3. Identify and establish new international collaborations aligned with the university's strategic goals.
4. Manage MoUs, international projects, joint programs, and academic collaborations with overseas institutions.
5. Represent the university at international conferences, forums, delegations, and networking events.
6. Support international student recruitment,



engagement, orientation, and student experience initiatives.
7. Coordinate with academic schools, departments, and administrative teams to execute global initiatives.
8. Develop strategies to enhance the university international reputation, visibility, and rankings.
9. Monitor global higher-education trends and identify opportunities for international growth.

Preferred candidate profile 1 . 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in international relations, higher education, or global partnerships

1. Proven experience in managing international collaborations, institutional partnerships, and cross-cultural programs.
2. Experience in negotiating and managing MoUs, exchange agreements, and strategic partnerships is preferred.
3. Masters degree in International Relations, Management, Education, or a related discipline.
4. A doctoral degree or relevant qualified certification will be an added advantage.
5. Strong communication, negotiation, networking, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills are essential.
6. Ability to work effectively across cultures and manage multiple international projects simultaneously.
