The Indian Football
Foundation (IFF), BBFS’s CSR arm, partners with leading corporations to provide financial and developmental support to talented footballers, many of whom progress to play at elite levels. BBFS and Enjogo also offer digital learning via the Enjogo sports learning app, newsletters, podcasts, and active social media channels to engage players, families, and coaches.
Role Description The Head Football Coach will lead the technical and tactical development of players at BBFS’s Chandigarh training center in India, overseeing daily training sessions, match preparation, and player assessment. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and delivering age-appropriate training curricula, organizing coaching schedules, and ensuring alignment with BBFS’s grassroots philosophy and AIFF standards.
The Head
Coach will mentor and guide assistant coaches, monitor player progression,
and maintain high standards of safety, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities also include collaborating with academy management on talent identification, parent communication, and program improvements, as well as contributing to workshops and events that support the broader BBFS and Enjogo ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Football Coaching and Coaching, with a strong understanding of modern Football tactics and player development.
- Proficiency in planning and delivering Training sessions, including age-specific curricula and match preparation.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with players, parents/guardians, coaching staff, and management.
- Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., AIFF or equivalent national/international licenses) and experience working in grassroots or academy environments.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor coaching teams, manage groups of young athletes, and foster an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment.
- Experience in talent identification, performance analysis, and long-term player development planning is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by training schedules and competitions.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with BBFS’s values and player-centered coaching philosophy.
