Company Description Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS), owned and operated by Enjogo, is India’s largest and most highly rated grassroots football training program, accredited by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). BBFS has trained more than 20,000 young players through a nationwide network of non-residential after-school programs and residential football excellence academies. Supported by Enjogo’s coach education initiatives in partnership with Skill India, BBFS offers structured pathways for both players and coaches to grow within qualified football.

Its CSR arm, the Indian Football Foundation (IFF), collaborates with leading corporations to fund and support talented footballers, many of whom have gone on to play at elite levels. BBFS also engages the wider football community through digital platforms, learning apps, newsletters, and podcasts focused on player development and education.

Role Description The Head Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Panchkula, responsible for leading and managing the Development Squad program for U15 and U13 batches at the St.

Panchkula centre. This role involves planning and delivering high-quality training sessions aligned with BBFS’s grassroots curriculum and philosophy, ensuring holistic development of players across technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects.

The Head

Coach will supervise and mentor assistant coaches, oversee player assessments, and maintain clear development plans and progress reports.



Day-to-day responsibilities include managing match preparation and team selection, coordinating with academy management on schedules and logistics, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and disciplined training workplace.

The Head

Coach will also engage with parents and guardians when needed, represent BBFS at local tournaments and events, and support talent identification pathways for promising players.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in football coaching, including session planning, player development, and match preparation at grassroots or academy level.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities to mentor coaching staff, guide players, and uphold a positive, inclusive training culture.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with players, families, colleagues, and external partners.
- Solid understanding of youth development principles, sports science basics, and age-appropriate training methodologies.
- Recognized coaching certifications (e.g., AIFF C license and above) and prior experience in academy or school-based football programs.
- Ability to work on-site in Panchkula, manage time efficiently, and handle administrative tasks such as reporting and scheduling.
- Commitment to safeguarding, player welfare, and adherence to BBFS policies, codes of conduct, and safety standards.
- Experience in talent identification, performance analysis, and use of modern coaching tools or technology is an advantage.
