Role Description The Head Chef at Tiroes is responsible for leading all kitchen operations on-site at our Ahmedabad location. This full-time role includes planning and executing the menu, overseeing food preparation and presentation, and ensuring consistent quality across all dishes.

The Head

Chef manages kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance, fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Daily tasks include maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, controlling inventory and food costs, and coordinating with front-of-house leadership to deliver smooth service.

Chef also contributes to seasonal menu development, introduces recent dishes, and supports special events and promotions.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills, including expertise in contemporary bistro cuisine, flavor pairing, and high-quality food preparation.
- Experience in kitchen leadership, including team supervision, training,



and performance management in a busy restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and compliance with local health regulations and best practices.
- Ability to manage inventory, control food costs, and work effectively with suppliers and purchasing processes.
- Menu development and plating skills, with an eye for presentation and guest appeal.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with front-of-house teams and management.
- Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a similar concept or upscale casual restaurant.
- Formal culinary training or certification is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
