Position: Head EHS

Experience: Relevant experience in EHS, preferably in Electronics Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced and agile EHS professional to lead and manage the organization's Environmental, Health & Safety strategy. The role will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, safe operations, environmental sustainability, risk reduction, and continuous EHS improvement across electronics manufacturing and associated operations.

- Statutory Compliance, Reporting & Documentation
- Liaison & Coordination with Regulatory/Statutory Authorities
- Gap Analysis, HIRA/JSA & Risk Assessment
- Hazard Identification & Control
- Waste Management & Environmental Compliance
- Emergency Preparedness & Response
- Contractor and Visitor Safety Management
- EHS Training & Capability Development

Key Responsibilities
1. EHS Strategy & Leadership

- Drive implementation of EHS policies, procedures and annual improvement plans.
- Build and strengthen a proactive safety culture across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and support functions.
- Establish EHS KPIs and monitor leading and lagging indicators.
- Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

1. Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, occupational health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities for inspections, audits, approvals and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain all required permits, licenses,



registers and statutory records.

1. Occupational Health & Safety

- Lead Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Implement safety controls and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Lead incident investigation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage contractor and visitor safety programs.
- Drive machine safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices.

1. Environmental Management

Ensure effective management and compliance related to:
- Air emissions
- Wastewater management
- Hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal
- Chemical storage and handling
- Resource efficiency
- Sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives

1. Electronics Manufacturing Safety

Drive EHS controls across:
- SMT and PCB assembly operations
- Soldering processes
- Chemical storage and handling
- ESD-controlled production areas
- Clean rooms and testing laboratories
- Battery handling and storage
- EMC/EMI and electrical safety
- Machine safety and energy isolation

1. Emergency Preparedness

- Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans.
- Conduct fire drills, evacuation exercises and mock emergency scenarios.
- Coordinate with local emergency services and relevant stakeholders.

1. EHS Management Systems





Lead implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of:
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management System
- ISO 50001 – Energy Management System (Preferred)

Conduct internal audits, management reviews and closure of audit findings.
1. Training & Capability Development

- Develop and conduct EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
- Ensure competency development and awareness across the organization.
- Drive regular safety campaigns, toolbox talks and awareness initiatives.

1. Reporting & Governance

- Present EHS performance and key risks to senior leadership.
- Track and report EHS KPIs, incidents, near misses and compliance status.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual EHS/compliance reports.
- Ensure timely closure of identified gaps and corrective actions.

Ideal Candidate Candidates with strong experience in EHS management within electronics manufacturing, engineering, industrial manufacturing, PCB/SMT, or similar environments are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, risk assessment, safety audits, environmental management, incident investigation, emergency preparedness and ISO 14001/45001 will be preferred.
