Guidewire PolicyCenter QA – Commercial Lines

About the Role

We are looking for a Guidewire PolicyCenter QA professional with strong P&C; Insurance experience and hands-on experience in Commercial Lines (CL) .

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing for Guidewire PolicyCenter .
- Validate PolicyCenter policy lifecycle transactions including Submission, Quote, Bind, Issue, Renewal, Cancellation, Reinstatement, and Rewrite .
- Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
- Validate Commercial Lines products, coverages, underwriting rules, rating, workflows, and policy transactions.
- Perform integration testing between PolicyCenter and external systems.
- Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA, ALM, ADO , or similar tools.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Support regression testing for releases, enhancements, and Guidewire upgrades.

Required Skills




- 3–5 years of QA/Testing experience in the P&C; Insurance domain.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter .
- Strong Commercial Lines (CL) experience.
- Positive understanding of P&C; insurance concepts and PolicyCenter workflows.
- Experience with functional and integration testing.
- Valuable understanding of PolicyCenter Product Model, Rating, Underwriting, and Rules .
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Commercial Lines Experience Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

Commercial Auto | BOP | Commercial Property | General Liability | Commercial Umbrella | Workers’ Compensation

Good to Have

- Guidewire PolicyCenter certification.
- Guidewire Cloud experience.
- API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- SQL/database testing.
- Guidewire automation testing experience.
- Exposure to Guidewire BillingCenter or ClaimCenter integrations.
