Founded in 1997, Plantrich has grown over nearly three decades into an international organic agri-commodities group with operations across India, Germany and Vietnam.

Our businesses span coffee, spices, essential oils and other agricultural commodities, supported by direct farmer partnerships, international supply chains and long-standing export relationships across global markets.

We are now looking for an experienced Group Finance Director to lead the Group’s finance function across all geographies and work closely with the Managing Director and Board on profitability, funding, investment, financial control and international growth.

? Qualification: CA; MBA Finance preferred

? Experience: 10+ years, preferably with international business exposure

? Operations: India, Germany & Vietnam

ROLE PURPOSE:

Lead the Group’s finance function with primary responsibility for profitability, cash flow, fund management, financial planning, foreign investment, financial control and sustainable business growth across India, Germany and Vietnam.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Profitability Management

- Monitor profitability by company, country, product, customer and shipment
- Track and improve Gross Margin, EBITDA and Net Profit
- Identify loss-making areas and recommend corrective actions

? Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
- Monitor Budget vs Actual performance
- Develop financial plans for expansion and new business initiatives

? Treasury & Fund Management

- Manage Group cash flow, liquidity and working capital
- Ensure adequate funding for procurement and operations
- Optimize borrowing structures and finance costs





? Banking & Export Finance

- Manage bank limits, CC/OD, packing credit, LC, BG and export finance facilities
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions

? Foreign Investment & International Finance

- Manage investment and fund flows between Indian and overseas entities
- Oversee FEMA, FDI/ODI and related regulatory requirements
- Coordinate financial activities across India, Germany and Vietnam

? Forex & Risk Management

- Monitor INR, USD and EUR exposures
- Develop appropriate strategies for currency-risk management and hedging

? Working Capital Management

- Control inventory, receivables and payables
- Improve the cash-conversion cycle
- Identify and release blocked working capital

? Investment & CAPEX

- Evaluate factories, machinery, infrastructure, overseas investments and new projects
- Analyse ROI, IRR, payback period and cash-flow impact before investment decisions

? Financial Control & Compliance

- Strengthen internal controls, authorization systems and financial governance
- Oversee statutory, tax and financial compliance
- Coordinate statutory, internal and international audits

? Group MIS & Management Reporting

- Submit consolidated monthly financial reports to the MD and Board
- Report Sales, Gross Profit, EBITDA, Net Profit, Cash Flow, Debt, Inventory, Receivables, Payables and Budget Variance




- Identify financial risks and recommend management actions

? Commercial & Strategic Support

- Review the financial viability of major contracts and business proposals
- Support pricing, funding, investment, expansion and strategic decision-making

? Finance Team Leadership

- Lead and develop finance teams across the Group
- Establish clear responsibilities, KPIs, controls and reporting timelines

- Foreign investment and regulatory compliance
- Forex and risk management
- Taxation and transfer pricing
- Financial controls, MIS and audit
- Investment and CAPEX evaluation The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with the MD and Board on funding, investment, profitability and growth decisions.

Experience in an export-driven, agri-commodity, food, organic or international trading business would be a strong advantage.
