Oasis Automation is looking for technically capable and hands-on GIS/GIB Installation & Commissioning Engineers / Supervisors to join our High-Voltage GIS and Substation Project Team.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting and supervising GIS/GIB installation, electrical equipment erection, testing, commissioning, SF gas handling, and associated substation activities at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

GIS/GIB Installation

- Conduct site assessment and readiness verification as per approved procedures and project requirements.
- Perform GIS/GIB axis marking, core drilling and chemical bolt installation.
- Verify GIS/GIB materials, boxes and conduct material reconciliation.
- Prepare GIS/GIB sub-assemblies as per approved drawings.
- Supervise GIS/GIB erection and installation activities.
- Supervise GI structure installation.
- Install, align and adjust Disconnect Switch (DS) and Earthing Switch (ES) driving rods.
- Ensure proper installation quality, alignment and workmanship.
- Coordinate with construction, site and commissioning teams.

LV Installation & Commissioning
- Supervise control and power cable laying activities.
- Supervise cable glanding and termination.
- Perform Insulation Resistance (IR) testing and cable continuity checks.
- Carry out panel pre-checking and visual inspections.
- Supervise gland plate cutting and installation.
- Perform functional testing of Circuit Breakers (CB), Disconnect Switches (DS) and Earthing Switches (ES).




- Conduct Circuit Breaker timing tests.
- Perform Contact Resistance Measurement (CRM).
- Support CT and VT testing activities.
- Perform interlock and functional logic checking.

SF Gas Treatment
- Supervise SF gas treatment activities.
- Support SF evacuation, filling and handling activities.
- Monitor SF gas handling procedures as per safety requirements.
- Perform density monitor and density switch alarm checks.
- Verify SF gas quality and maintain required documentation.

Digital Products & Commissioning
- Support commissioning activities for GIS digital products.
- Exposure to systems such as CSD/RPH3, BW3, PD and associated digital systems will be an advantage.
- Coordinate with commissioning teams for functional verification and troubleshooting.

Other Responsibilities
- Support HV testing and other GIS commissioning activities.
- Assist in site troubleshooting and rectification activities.
- Coordinate with Testing & Commissioning Engineers.
- Prepare and verify inspection records, test reports and commissioning documents.
- Follow all project quality, safety and approved work procedures.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India and Overseas.

Candidate Requirements

Qualification





- ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Experience
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in:

- GIS/GIB Installation

- GIS Commissioning

- HV/MV Switchgear

- Substation Erection

- Electrical Installation
- Testing & Commissioning
- Power Transmission & Distribution Projects
