Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Geospatial Engineer with 5+ years of experience in GIS development and engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with FME, Oracle Spatial, ArcGIS/QGIS, and Python, along with a positive understanding of spatial data processing, projections, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain GIS and geospatial data processing workflows using FME Desktop and FME Server.
- Develop and optimize spatial queries using Oracle/Oracle Spatial, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Work with GIS platforms such as Esri ArcGIS and/or QGIS.
- Develop Python scripts for geospatial data processing and workflow automation.
- Perform spatial data transformation, validation, integration, and quality checks.
- Work with various spatial data formats and coordinate reference systems/projections.
- Design and maintain efficient spatial data models and databases.




- Troubleshoot GIS workflows and resolve data processing issues.
- Collaborate with development, data, and business teams to deliver geospatial solutions.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of experience in GIS Development/Engineering
- Robust hands-on experience with FME Desktop & FME Server
- Strong knowledge of Oracle/Oracle Spatial, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS and/or QGIS
- Strong scripting skills, preferably Python
- Good understanding of spatial data formats, projections, and coordinate systems
- Knowledge of spatial data modeling and geospatial ETL

Preferred Skills

- Experience in automating GIS workflows using Python and FME.
- Knowledge of common geospatial formats such as Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, GeoPackage, and GeoTIFF.
- Experience with spatial data quality, validation, and optimization.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
