Job Title: General Manager – Fire Fighting Industry - ( Mandatory)
Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategic direction, and profitability of the organization within the fire protection and fire fighting industry. This includes managing projects, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, leading teams, and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of fire protection systems (installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance).
Ensure timely execution of projects related to fire alarms, sprinklers, hydrants, and suppression systems.
Monitor operational efficiency and implement process improvements.
- Strategic Planning & Business Development
Develop and execute business growth strategies.
Identify new market opportunities in fire safety and protection services.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and government authorities.
- Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., NBC, NFPA).
Maintain high safety standards across all operations.
Coordinate audits, inspections, and certifications.
- Financial Management
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Monitor expenses and ensure profitability of projects.
Approve major expenditures and contracts.
- Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage technical, sales, and administrative teams.
Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
Ensure proper training and development of staff.
- Project Management
Oversee multiple fire protection projects simultaneously.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site teams.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Handle escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Fire Engineering or related field.
MBA or management qualification preferred.
Experience
10–15+ years of experience in fire fighting / fire protection industry.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.

Preferred Knowledge
Fire detection & alarm systems
Fire hydrant & sprinkler systems
Gas suppression systems (FM200, CO₂, etc.)
Risk assessment and fire safety audits
Working Conditions
Combination of office and site-based work
May require travel to project sites and client locations
Salary Package: 11 to 11.5 LPA
