Reporting & Consolidation

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements (including overseas subsidiaries) as per Ind-AS

- Finalize books of accounts and annual reports; ensure accounting is in line with applicable accounting standards

- Generate monthly performance packs with detailed commentary on actual vs. budget performance

- Publish cost-center and profit-center wise SBU profitability statements

- Drive automation and process improvements in the consolidation cycle

2. Statutory & Internal Audit

- Ensure timely statutory audit, tax audit, cost audit, and quarterly limited review, with full related compliance

- Manage internal audits to minimize queries/observations; coordinate with internal audit team

- Handle statutory and internal auditors, ensuring no significant deficiencies or adverse observations

- Ensure compliance with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR); periodically update RCM and process flow documents (PFDs)

Accounting

Governance & Controls

- Prepare and maintain the Accounting & Finance Manual and Group Accounting Policy Framework

- Conduct periodic ledger scrutiny and reconciliations across all entities

- Ensure company and associate companies are professionally documented

- Upgrade internal controls, systems, and processes on an ongoing basis

4. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance





- Work closely with direct and indirect tax teams to ensure tax compliance and benefit claims

- Proactively prepare the organization for tax assessments and audits

- Ensure all statutory and industry-specific regulatory compliance, providing required information as needed

5. Treasury, Banking & Payments

- Support treasury, cash flow, and fundraising functions

- Manage banking relationships and operational banking matters

- Lead the accounts payable function, including vendor payments, employee claims, and TDS-related payments

Accounting

Systems (SAP) & MIS

- Ensure SAP entries and reporting modules align with management needs; lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementation

- Provide timely, quality accounting data to the FP&A; function for budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and project controls

- Prepare budget vs. actual reports, cost-center deviations, and intra-head budget transfer reports

- Apprise management on critical matters for long-term balance sheet structuring

Preferred candidate profile

- Solid command of Ind-AS accounting standards

- Expertise in accounts consolidation, including subsidiaries

- Proficiency in standalone financial preparation and financial analysis

- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and MS Office

- Strong team management and business partnering capability
