Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GE Proficy Developer to lead and execute the migration of GE Digital Proficy software components (Kepware, Historian, Plant Applications, Operations Hub, etc.) across legacy and modern platforms. The candidate will play a key role in planning, design, testing, deployment, and support of the migration effort to ensure minimal downtime and maximum continuity for critical industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess existing GE Proficy infrastructure and develop a comprehensive migration plan.
- Lead the team for End-to-End migration and support post migration.
- Good communication skills as more customer communication is required.
- Good knowledge in GE Proficy Plant Model Configuration and Debug the Logs. Should know all services involved in GE Plant Apps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system compatibility and data integrity during migration.
- Design and implement system architecture changes for scalability and performance improvements.
- Develop testing protocols, validation plans, and rollback procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data flows, communication protocols (OPC, MQTT, Modbus, etc.), and visualization tools.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including system configurations, migration logs, and user guides.

Role Overview





We are looking for an experienced AVEVA MES Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AVEVA System Platform, Operations Management Interface (OMI), and MES solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, integrating, testing and supporting industrial/MES applications used in manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and configure applications using AVEVA System Platform.
- Develop and configure AVEVA OMI (Operations Management Interface) applications and visualization screens.
- Work with AVEVA MES modules to support manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Configure ArchestrA Objects, Templates, Galaxy and IDE.
- Develop HMI/SCADA applications and integrate them with MES and shop-floor systems.
- Configure and integrate data from PLCs, SCADA, historians and industrial equipment.
- Work with industrial communication protocols such as OPC/OPC-UA.
- Develop and maintain MES workflows, production tracking, equipment data and traceability solutions.
- Perform application configuration, testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
- Support SIT, UAT, commissioning and production deployment.
- Integrate AVEVA MES with ERP and other enterprise applications using APIs/interfaces.
- Work with databases, particularly SQL Server, for data queries, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Provide production support and resolve issues related to MES, OMI and System Platform.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.
