Functional Consultant – ERP (D365 F&O; / Business Central)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant with 4+ years of experience in ERP solutions, with solid knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;), Dynamics 365 Business Central, and NAV/Navision. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring and supporting ERP solutions, coordinating customizations and integrations and ensuring effective system adoption across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze business requirements and translate them into ERP functional solutions.

· Configure, customize, implement, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV/Navision solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.

· Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;) implementations, enhancements, testing, and ongoing functional support.

· Understand business processes and identify opportunities for ERP process improvements and automation.

· Gather, document, and validate functional requirements with business stakeholders.

· Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD),process flows and functional design documents.

· Conduct gap analysis and recommend appropriate ERP solutions.

· Work with technical teams on custom pages, reports, workflows, and system modifications using AL (Application Language) and C/AL.

· Coordinate with developers for extensions, customizations, reports, workflows, integrations, and other technical enhancements.

· Implement and maintain integrations between Business Central/NAV and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, OData, web services, and middleware.

· Support data migration,



validation, reconciliation and integration testing activities.

· Develop and execute functional test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

· Troubleshoot functional issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

· Provide end-user training, documentation and post-implementation support.

· Support ERP upgrades, version migrations, system enhancements, and deployment activities.

· Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows and business processes.

Required Skills & Experience

· Strong functional knowledge of D365 F&O;

· Hands-on with D365 Business Central & NAV/Navision (on-prem & cloud)

· AL & C/AL – custom pages, reports, workflows

· Integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, OData, web services, middleware

· ERP domains: Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Operations

· Requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, documentation

· Configuration, functional testing, UAT, data migration, issue resolution

· Strong analytical, communication & stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

● D365 BC / NAV / F&O; certification – added advantage

● ERP implementation, migration, upgrade or digital transformation experience

● Exposure to cloud ERP & Microsoft Azure

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
