Job Summary The Full-Stack Developer at SandCup is responsible for building, maintaining, and improving scalable web applications across frontend and backend technologies. The role requires strong hands-on experience in React.js, backend development, API integration, database management, and application performance.

The developer will work closely with designers, developers, QA teams, and project teams to convert business requirements and approved UI designs into clean, secure, responsive, and production-ready applications.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Convert Figma and approved UI designs into accurate, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
- Develop reusable components and scalable frontend structures.
- Develop and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and implement backend business logic.
- Design and maintain database structures, relationships, and optimized queries.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure application flows.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Improve frontend, backend, API, and database performance.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive behaviour, and application reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with appropriate unit and integration testing.
- Debug application issues and identify root causes across frontend, backend, API, and database layers.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, QA, and project teams in an Agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and support junior developers where required.

Preferable Competencies

- Strong understanding of React.js, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, hooks, component architecture, and frontend performance.
- Hands-on experience with backend development using Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Python, or similar technologies.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, API security, authentication,



and third-party integrations.
- Strong understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with focus on quality and performance.
- Understanding of accessibility practices such as ARIA and keyboard navigation will be preferred.
- Experience with Next.js, Docker, cloud platforms, and CI/CD will be preferred.
