Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-looking Full Stack Engineer – Oracle Cloud OICS & VBCS to join the engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, managing, and supporting Oracle Cloud integrations and extensions using OICS, VBCS, BIP Reporting, REST Services, PL/SQL, Python, Java, and related Oracle Cloud technologies. The role requires strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud, end-to-end technical configuration, integration dependencies, and the behavior of large-scale Oracle ERP Cloud implementations. The candidate will work closely with business teams, Oracle support, cloud operations, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Programme Background

The organization is undergoing a large-scale Finance Transformation programme to modernize finance operations and move towards a single cloud-based ERP and performance management landscape using Oracle Fusion, EPM, EDM, OICS, and related Oracle Cloud services. The role will support critical finance transformation initiatives across reporting, integrations, cloud operations, customization, support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements & Solution Design

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document reporting and integration requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Participate in solution design discussions and architecture reviews.

Integration Design & Development

- Design, develop, and implement integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and external systems using:
- Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OICS)

- REST APIs

- PL/SQL

- Python

- Java

- VBCS

- Define integration architecture aligned with business, performance, scalability, and security requirements.




- Build and manage APIs using OICS to expose data and functionality across systems.

VBCS & Cloud Application Development

- Develop and support Oracle Cloud extensions using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Build user-friendly application components and workflows aligned with business processes.
- Support seeded and custom application extensions within Oracle Cloud.

BIP Reporting & Data Transformation

- Develop and maintain BI Publisher (BIP) reports.
- Design and implement data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate data movement.
- Work on data modelling and ETL interfaces/mappings for data warehouse and reporting requirements.

Testing, Deployment & Support

- Develop and execute test cases with focus on:
- Security

- Resiliency

- Scalability

- Performance

- Deploy integrations and application components to production environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with development and cloud operations teams.
- Reproduce production issues in lab environments and present findings to development teams.

Oracle Support & Change Management

- Work with Oracle Support and consulting teams for issue resolution.
- Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and follow up through closure.
- Support Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion infrastructure operations and change control board activities.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

- Create technical documentation including:
- Design specifications

- Integration documents

- User guides

- Support procedures

- Maintenance documents

- Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to support teams and developers.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion.
- Solid experience in Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OICS).
- Hands-on development experience in VBCS.
- Experience with BIP Reporting.
- Solid knowledge of REST Services / REST APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- PL/SQL

- Python

- Java





- Experience with Oracle Database and ADW.
- Understanding of ADF, SOA, seeded customization framework, OATs, PSR tools, and accessibility testing tools is preferred.
- Experience with continuous delivery, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-based services.

Functional / Domain Knowledge

- Strong understanding of finance business processes, including:
- R2R – Record to Report
- P2P – Procure to Pay
- O2C – Order to Cash

- Oracle RMB

- Experience working in a Finance Technology function is preferred.
- Prior experience with large financial services organizations will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to finance, human capital management, or supply chain domains is preferred.

Engineering & Delivery Skills

- Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, SDLC, and industry-standard delivery practices.
- Strong inclination towards test-driven development.
- Experience driving high availability, resiliency, and scalability for global Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion landscapes.
- Ability to contribute to metrics-driven continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work in fast-paced Agile development and rapid deployment environments.

Required Experience & Education

- 6–9 years of experience in Oracle ERP application implementation and support.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion, OICS, VBCS, BIP Reporting, REST Services, Java, PL/SQL, Python, and cloud-based application development.
- Experience handling Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion application infrastructure and end-to-end operational support.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Certifications

- Oracle Integration Cloud / OICS Certification.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification.
- Oracle Fusion Applications Certification.
- Any relevant Oracle ERP Cloud certification
