Lead Full-Stack & Platform Engineer — Healthcare SaaS

We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack & Platform Engineer who brings deep product engineering chops alongside robust modern infrastructure experience. If you are a pure-play DevOps engineer who prefers to stay isolated from application code, this is not the right fit. In this role, you will hold true full-stack application ownership, building high-performance Next.js architectures while orchestrating the underlying cloud architecture, security perimeters, and CI/CD operations that keep our healthcare platforms scaling seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

* Full-Stack Feature Architecture: Architect, build, and scale resilient, secure full-stack applications utilizing Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

- Cloud & Platform Ownership: Design, optimize, and manage multi-tenant production systems primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring peak availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Security & Healthcare Compliance: Implement, audit, and safeguard infrastructure security parameters, access layers, and data encryption strategies to meet strict healthcare industry standards (including HIPAA alignment).
- CI/CD & Delivery Pipelines: Drive and modernize automated CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and automated setting provisioning to eliminate deployment friction.
- Production Operations & On-Call Engineering: Lead production monitoring, logging, tracing, alert structures, and root-cause analysis for system anomalies.
- Technical Leadership:



Serve as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between application engineering and foundational operations; mentor junior-to-mid level developers on operational and structural excellence.

Required Qualifications

* Experience: 8+ years of hands-on professional software engineering experience across full-stack applications and production infrastructure.

- Frontend/Backend Stack: Extensive expertise with Next.js, TypeScript, and advanced architectural patterns in modern JavaScript/Node.js ecosystems.
- Database Management: Deep proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and connection pooling in highly active environments.
- Cloud Engineering: Proven experience deploying and maintaining containerized, scalable applications directly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent top-tier cloud fabrics.
- Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD: Hands-on command of modern CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code frameworks (e.g., GitHub Actions, Terraform).
- Application Mentality: Strong desire for end-to-end code ownership. You should be equally comfortable debugging an asynchronous API route, optimizing a SQL execution plan, or tuning a cloud firewall.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

* Prior engineering experience in HealthTech, MedTech, or a highly regulated compliance environment (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

- Mastery of container tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with O*NET framework standards or formal Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer).
