Role Description

We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Flutter development. The role involves building mobile applications that communicate directly with safety-critical hardware devices over wireless interfaces, including device configuration, diagnostics, data logging and firmware updates.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Flutter applications for Android and iOS
- Implement device communication features: reading sensor data, writing configurations, and retrieving event logs over wireless interfaces
- Implement and debug binary device protocols (byte parsing, framing, CRC validation, chunked data transfer)
- Build and maintain firmware update flows over constrained wireless transports
- Handle platform-specific connectivity behavior on Android and iOS (permissions, background modes, session limits)
- Integrate backend REST APIs for data sync and reporting
- Write clean, testable Dart code following structured state management practices
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and design discussions with firmware and hardware teams

Required Skills (Must have)

Core Technical Skills





- 3+ years of Flutter development with apps shipped to production
- iOS development experience: Xcode, provisioning/signing, App Store submission, and platform channel work (Swift/Objective-C basics)
- Hands-on BLE stack experience in production apps: GATT services/characteristics, MTU handling, connection lifecycle, pairing/bonding
- Binary protocol handling: byte buffers, endianness, bit manipulation, checksums (CRC)
- REST API integration and JSON serialization (Dio/HTTP)
- State management experience (Provider, BLoC, or similar)
- Experience using Git and version control workflows

Hardware Communication & Quality Awareness

- Experience with OTA/firmware update flows over BLE or similar transport
- Ability to debug hardware communication issues (sniffers, packet logs, intermittent connection failures)
- Understanding of error handling, retries, and data integrity in unreliable wireless links
- Familiarity with unit testing in Flutter

Good to Have

- NFC experience: NDEF, tag read/write, iOS Core NFC / Android NFC APIs, and energetic NFC tags (Type 5 / ISO 15693) with mailbox-based fast transfer mode (FTM) communication
- Experience with safety-critical, medical, or industrial IoT products
- Encryption basics (AES, key handling)
- Firebase services (FCM, Crashlytics)
- Ability to read protocol specifications or firmware documentation alongside embedded teams
