Role Description
We are looking for a Firmware Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career engineering professionals interested in working across Firmware Development, Embedded Systems, Embedded C/C++, Microcontrollers, RTOS, Device Drivers, Hardware-Software Integration, IoT, and Industrial Automation.
The Firmware Software Engineer will work closely with software, electronics, electrical, automation, instrumentation, maintenance, production, and other technical teams to develop, test, integrate, and maintain firmware and embedded-software solutions.
Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in firmware development, embedded systems, embedded software, electronics, IoT, automation, device development, or related engineering roles can apply.
- Candidates currently working as Firmware Engineer, Firmware Software Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, Embedded Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, IoT Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Software Engineer, or R&D; Engineer are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from electronics, automotive, industrial automation, IoT, telecom, embedded systems, consumer electronics, manufacturing, robotics, engineering, or technology companies are welcome.
- Basic to good knowledge of Embedded C and/or C++ programming.
- Understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, embedded systems, and computer architecture fundamentals.
- Familiarity with platforms such as ARM Cortex, STM32, ESP32, AVR, PIC, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NXP, TI, or similar controllers will be beneficial.
- Understanding of GPIO, ADC, DAC, PWM, timers, interrupts, watchdogs, and peripheral interfaces.
- Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, or similar communication protocols will be an advantage.
- Exposure to FreeRTOS, Zephyr, embedded Linux,
or other RTOS environments will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with development tools such as Keil, STM32CubeIDE, MPLAB, IAR, GCC, PlatformIO, or similar IDEs/toolchains will be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of digital electronics, circuits, sensors, actuators, and hardware interfaces.
- Exposure to debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, or protocol analysers will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, debugging, unit testing, and software-development workflows will be an advantage.
- Exposure to IoT, MQTT, BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, industrial communication, or cloud-connected devices will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Understanding of bootloaders, firmware updates, memory maps, flash memory, and embedded debugging will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Python, Linux, scripting, or test automation will be beneficial.
- Positive analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with software, electronics, automation, and engineering teams.
- Willingness to work in an on-site engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Internship, embedded project, Arduino/STM32 project, IoT project, robotics project, GitHub project, hackathon, or academic project will be considered but is not mandatory.
- Strong willingness to learn new firmware, embedded, electronics, automation, and communication technologies.
