About Role:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Finance Executive to join our Finance team. As a Finance Executive, you willbe responsible for day-to-day accounting, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting month end closing and audits. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep the books accurate and financial operations running smoothly as we scale.
Responsibilities:
- Handling end-to-end day-to-day accounting, including recording sales and purchase invoices, expenses,
- receipts and payments, and maintaining accurate bank, customer and vendor ledger entries with proper supporting documentation.
- Managing accounts receivable raising invoices, following up on outstanding payments, maintaining ageing reports, allocating customer receipts, and tracking TDS deductions and certificates.
- Managing accounts payable, including verifying vendor invoices and GST/PAN details, recording bills,
- preparing payment schedules,
and tracking advances and outstanding liabilities.
- Owning monthly GST and TDS compliance, including GSTR-1/3B preparation, GSTR-2B and 26A reconciliation, and TDS calculation and returns.
- Driving month-end closing activities such as accruals, provisions, prepaid expense accounting, ledger scrutiny, and timely closure of monthly books.
- Working hands-on with Excel and ERP tools such as Zoho Books or Tally for reconciliations, ageing, MIS
and data validation.
- Supporting statutory and internal audits by preparing schedules, ledger extracts, and confirmations, and responding to routine audit queries.
- Assisting with broader compliance and documentation maintaining statutory registers, tracking MSME vendor compliance, and ensuring invoices and supporting documents are properly maintained.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of qualified experience in accounting/bookkeeping; freshers with a solid Excel skillset are
welcome to apply.
- Hands-on experience with Excel for reconciliations, ageing reports, MIS and accounting workings.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS calculation and returns.
- Experience with bank, customer and vendor ledger reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Tally or a similar ERP.
- Strong attention to detail with a hands-on, ownership-driven approach to book-keeping.
- Good communication skills for vendor/customer follow-ups and cross-functional coordination.
- Prior experience supporting statutory or internal audits is a plus.
- Exposure to MSME vendor compliance tracking is a plus.
- SaaS/Cloud or services industry experience is a plus.
