Role Description The Finance Controllership Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, responsible for overseeing financial control, governance, and reporting across Mudrex. This role includes managing the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and maintaining robust internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The Finance Controllership

Lead will monitor cash flows, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decisions. Day-to-day work involves reviewing reconciliations, optimizing financial processes and systems,



coordinating with external auditors and advisors, and strengthening risk management frameworks. The role also contributes to building scalable finance operations suitable for a high-growth, technology-driven, crypto-focused business.

Qualifications

- Robust financial accounting and controllership skills, including experience with general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and month-end and year-end close activities.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to business and leadership teams.
- Solid knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks, preferably with exposure to regulated financial or fintech environments.
- Experience working with modern finance tools and ERP/accounting systems, and comfort with process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor finance team members, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or MBA in Finance, or equivalent relevant experience; prior experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services is an advantage.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy, with a strong interest in the crypto and digital assets ecosystem.
