We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our millwork and interiors business. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of accounting principles, be comfortable working with vendors and clients, and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities including purchase entries, sales entries, and journal vouchers
- Maintain and reconcile books of accounts, bank statements, and ledgers
- Prepare and manage GST returns, TDS filings, and other statutory compliances
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for payments, invoices, and reconciliations
- Generate client invoices and follow up on receivables
- Manage petty cash, advance payments, and employee reimbursements
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, MIS, and audit documents
- Support senior accountants during monthly and annual closings
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records
- Coordinate with internal departments (projects, purchase, HR) for cost tracking and approvals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in an interiors or construction company)
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and knowledge of ERP software is a plus
- Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
