We are Hiring for our client for System Engineer and Filed service Engineer for Chengalpattu Location

Job Summary The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for computers, laptops, basic printers, and small office networking equipment. The role requires visiting customer locations, diagnosing hardware and software issues, ensuring timely service completion, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Location: Chengalpattu / Maduranthakam

Key Responsibilities

Computer & Laptop Support

- Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop hardware issues.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and device drivers.
- Upgrade RAM, SSD/HDD, and other computer components.
- Install and configure software applications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software-related issues.

Printer Support

- Install and configure basic USB and network printers.
- Troubleshoot printer connectivity, paper jams, and print quality issues.
- Replace consumables and perform basic maintenance.

Network Support

- Install and configure routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and LAN connections.
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues.
- Perform basic network cable testing and internet connectivity checks.

Field Service Responsibilities

- Attend customer service calls as assigned by the Service Coordinator.
- Install, maintain, and repair customer equipment in office.
- Update service reports and job completion status promptly.
- Ensure all assigned calls are completed within the committed Turnaround Time (TAT).




- Maintain professional behavior and deliver excellent customer service.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
- Windows installation, formatting, and software troubleshooting.
- Basic printer installation and troubleshooting.
- Basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, Router, Switch).
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

Experience

- 02 Years: Junior Field Service Engineer
- 2 Years: Field Service Engineer

Salary & Benefits

- Salary: 18,000 to 25,000 per month (Based on experience and technical skills).
- Petrol Allowance: 3 per kilometer for official field travel.
- Mobile reimbursement or travel allowances may be provided as per company policy.
- Performance-based incentives may be offered based on service quality and productivity.

Preferred Requirements

- Valid two-wheeler driving license.
- Own two-wheeler must for field visits.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned service area.
- Basic English communication skills.

- Number of service calls attended.
- First-Time Fix Rate (FTFR).
- Average Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Customer Satisfaction (CSAT).
- Timely completion of preventive maintenance.
- Accuracy of service reports.
- Attendance and punctuality.

Working Conditions

- Field-based role involving daily customer visits.
- Travel within the assigned territory.
- Occasional weekend or emergency support as required by business operations.
