: Field Coordinator

NavSahyog Foundation is seeking a passionate and dedicated Field Coordinator to join our team and empower village children in Tamil Nadu!

About Us:

NavSahyog Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation working to develop life skills and creativity in children aged 5–14. Through sports, storytelling, and experiential learning, we aim to equip them for future success, including entrepreneurship. We operate in more than 300 villages and by 2035, we aim to develop life skills in 100,000 children and empower 3,000 rural youth with a superior livelihood.

About the Role:

As a Field Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our program's successful implementation and quality across various villages. You will be a bridge between our central team and the field staff, providing support, guidance, and training while fostering strong relationships with the community.

Location: Hosur/Denkanikottai, Tamil Nadu

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the successful implementation, quality, and consistency of NavSahyog Foundation programs in assigned villages.
- Support Area Facilitators and Village Coordinators in implementing program corrections and new initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify best practices, share them with other clusters, and continually improve program delivery.
- Assess the training needs of field staff and organise online and offline training programs.
- Participate in delivering training sessions for the village field team.
- Collect video feedback from community members, teachers, parents, and children.
- Manage relationships with teachers, community members, parents, and children in your assigned region.
- Conduct regular community meetings in assigned villages.




- Build and maintain positive relationships with local government bodies like panchayat leaders and education officers.
- Travel to villages periodically for monitoring, review, training, and providing support to the field team.
- Organise events and programs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare timely and regular reports, manage ongoing feedback, and ensure periodic program reporting for donors.

Qualifications for the Position:

- Master's in Social Work with 1-2 years of experience OR bachelor's degree in social work with 4 years of relevant experience in the social sector.
- Exceptional freshers with relevant internship/field experience may also be considered.
- Fluency in English and the respective regional language (Tamil) is mandatory.
- Deep interest in the development sector, particularly with a focus on children's education and empowerment.
- Keenness to work with children aged 5-14 years.
- Excellent training and communication skills.
- Comfort level interacting with parents, teachers, community members, and village leaders.
- Proficiency in computer applications (spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word, email, Google Drive).
- Ability to define and implement processes effectively.
- Possession of a smartphone and a laptop.
- A two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with a self-motivated and results-oriented approach.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Flexibility to travel to villages and stay as required, and the ability to adjust working hours based on community needs.
- Prior exposure to village/internship experience in villages is preferred.
