We are seeking an experienced Forward Development Architect (FDA) to lead the design and evolution of next-generation Data, AI, and Cloud Infrastructure solutions across the Insurance value chain. The role is responsible for defining future-state technology architecture, enabling AI-driven business transformation, and delivering scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise platforms.

The FDA acts as the strategic technical leader bridging business vision, enterprise architecture, engineering, cloud infrastructure, and AI innovation. This role requires deep expertise in modern data platforms, AI/ML ecosystems, cloud-native architectures, and insurance business processes while partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape the organization's digital roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect enterprise-scale Data Lake/Lakehouse platforms supporting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
2. Define ingestion architectures for batch, streaming, APIs, and third-party data.
3. Design Bronze-Silver-Gold data models and semantic layers.
4. Establish metadata management, data lineage, cataloging, and data quality frameworks.
5. Enable self-service analytics and enterprise reporting capabilities
6. Design cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Architect scalable compute platforms leveraging Kubernetes, containers, serverless, and GPU-enabled infrastructure.
8. Define networking, storage, identity management, and security architecture for AI workloads.
9. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, observability, and cost optimization.
10. Partner with Infrastructure and Platform Engineering teams to implement resilient enterprise platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
2. 15-20 years of experience in enterprise technology, with significant experience in architecture and digital transformation.
3. 5+ years leading cloud, data, and AI initiatives at enterprise scale.
4. Experience delivering AI-enabled platforms within the insurance industry.
5. Certifications in Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), TOGAF, Kubernetes, or AI/ML are highly desirable.
