Role Description The Fashion Designer Internship at JIJIVISHAONLINE is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The intern will assist in conceptualizing and developing fashion and accessory designs aligned with the brand’s focus on handcrafted products.

Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching and refining design ideas, selecting textiles and materials, coordinating embroidery and embellishment details, and supporting fittings to ensure high-quality garments and products. The intern will collaborate with artisans, production teams, and merchandising staff to translate designs into finished pieces,



maintain design documentation, and help prepare samples and collections for photoshoots and online listing. This role offers hands-on exposure to craft-based fashion, from initial concept through final product.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, including sketching, trend awareness, and collection development.
- Candidates should possess skills in Textiles and Embroidery, with an understanding of fabrics, surface decoration, and craft-based techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Fitting, including garment construction basics, measurements, and attention to drape and comfort.
- Solid visual creativity, color and pattern sense, and an interest in handmade and artisan products.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate design ideas clearly.
- Basic proficiency in design tools (manual or digital) and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Relevant coursework or training in fashion design, textiles, or a related discipline; portfolio of previous work is highly beneficial.
