Role & responsibilities The Executive - Procurement will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, contracting and lifecycle management of IT hardware, infrastructure and related support services. The role focuses on ensuring cost optimization, timely availability, standardization, vendor performance, risk mitigation and compliance while working closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and Business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of IT Hardware, Software, Cloud Services, Cybersecurity Solutions, and IT Infrastructure Services.
- Lead sourcing activities including RFPs, RFQs, vendor evaluations, negotiations, and rate contract finalization.
- Procure IT infrastructure components such as laptops, desktops, servers, storage, networking equipment, printers, and AV systems.
- Drive commercial negotiations with OEMs, distributors, and service providers to achieve cost optimization and value realization.
- Manage contracts, AMCs, SLAs, warranties, NDAs,
and support agreements in coordination with Legal and stakeholders.
- Support IT budgeting, Capex/Opex planning, cost analysis, benchmarking, and annual savings initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Business Teams to ensure timely procurement and project execution.
- Monitor vendor performance, service delivery, SLA compliance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Conduct supplier risk assessments and ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance, and audit requirements.
- Support infrastructure expansion, technology upgrades, hardware refresh programs, and IT transformation initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
- 4-8 years of experience in IT Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Vendor Management.
- Robust experience in procurement of IT Hardware, Software Licensing, Cloud Services, Infrastructure Services, and Cybersecurity Solutions.
