Role Description The Executive Accounts and Taxation role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kurla. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The executive will prepare and review financial statements, assist with budgeting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.

Responsibilities include calculating and filing direct and indirect taxes, maintaining accurate documentation for audits, and coordinating with external auditors or tax consultants when required. The role also involves responding to internal and external queries on accounts and taxation, improving accounting processes,



and supporting management with financial reports and analysis for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong accounting skills, including bookkeeping, ledger management, bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess taxation skills, including knowledge of direct and indirect tax regulations, tax computation, return filing, and documentation for audits.
- Candidates should possess financial analysis and reporting skills, including budgeting support, variance analysis, and preparation of management reports.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel), along with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and tax consultants.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in accounting or taxation are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounts and taxation role, preferably in a consulting, services, or healthcare/veterinary environment, will be beneficial.
