Job Role

EV Bike Mechanic

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electric scooters to ensure optimal performance and safety.

- Conduct mechanical and electrical diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues.

- Repair and troubleshoot motors, Battery Management Systems (BMS), controllers, wiring harnesses, and other EV components.

- Perform routine preventive maintenance and service checks.

- Carry out brake adjustments, tire replacements, suspension tuning, and software updates.

- Conduct post-repair testing and safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet quality standards.

- Explain technical issues, repair requirements, and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers.

- Provide accurate repair estimates and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

- Maintain detailed service records and update repair information in the internal management system.

- Track parts usage, inventory, and repair timelines.

- Follow company safety procedures and technical service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostics & Repair:

- Perform thorough diagnostics on electric scooters.

- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.

- Repair EV motors, BMS, controllers, wiring harnesses, and related components.

- Troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure proper vehicle functionality.

Preventive Maintenance

- Conduct regular vehicle service and maintenance checks.

- Adjust and replace brake components as required.





- Perform tire replacements and suspension maintenance.

- Carry out required software updates.

- Ensure vehicle safety and long-term reliability.

Quality Assurance

- Perform post-repair testing and inspections.

- Verify that all repairs have been completed correctly.

- Ensure vehicles meet UPCOT's technical and safety standards before delivery.

Customer Service

- Communicate technical problems and repair requirements to customers.

- Provide honest repair estimates and maintenance guidance.

- Resolve customer service concerns professionally.

- Ensure a positive service experience.

Documentation & Inventory

- Maintain accurate service and repair records.

- Update vehicle service details in the internal management system.

- Track spare parts and inventory usage.

- Monitor repair timelines and service completion.

Qualifications & Skills

- Proven experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician.

- Experience with electric bikes, electric scooters, or motorcycles is highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.

- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot EV-related issues.

- Positive problem-solving and technical skills.

- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.

- Strong attention to safety and quality standards.

- Good customer communication skills.
