Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ETL Data Testing professional with 6–14 years of experience in data warehouse testing, ETL validation, data quality, and database testing. The candidate should have strong experience in validating data pipelines, source-to-target mappings, data transformations, reconciliation, and end-to-end data flows.

The role requires close collaboration with Data Engineers, ETL Developers, Business Analysts, and Data Architects to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute ETL and Data Warehouse testing strategies and test cases.
- Validate source-to-target data mappings, transformations, business rules, and data loads.
- Perform data validation, data reconciliation, data integrity, and data quality testing.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
- Validate ETL workflows, jobs, pipelines, incremental loads, full loads, and CDC processes.
- Perform database testing across source and target systems.
- Identify, analyze, document, and track data defects through to resolution.
- Validate data across multiple layers including staging, ODS, data warehouse, and reporting layers.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate data transformations, aggregations, joins, lookups, filters, and calculations.
- Verify data completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and referential integrity.




- Work with developers and data engineers to troubleshoot data discrepancies and pipeline failures.
- Develop and maintain automated data testing frameworks where applicable.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Analyze source systems and understand data models, schemas, and data lineage.
- Support testing of cloud-based and contemporary data platforms where required.

Candidate Profile
- 6–14 years of overall experience in ETL/Data Testing or Data Warehouse Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL and backend data validation.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data models.
- Experience working with large datasets and complex data pipelines.
- Ability to independently analyze data discrepancies and identify root causes.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.
