Role Description The Environmental Engineer will work full time on-site in Bangalore Urban, supporting the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include assessing environmental impacts of construction activities, developing mitigation measures, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards. The role involves supporting design and operation of wastewater and sewage treatment systems, reviewing project drawings and documentation for environmental considerations, and coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and regulatory authorities.

The Environmental

Engineer will prepare technical reports,



environmental monitoring plans, and compliance documentation, and will support waste management practices on project sites to align with sustainability goals. This position also requires participation in site inspections, data collection, and continuous improvement of environmental performance across projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Consulting to interpret regulations, advise project teams, and prepare compliance documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Wastewater Treatment and Waste Management to support design, operation, and optimization of treatment systems and on-site waste handling practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Impact Assessment to evaluate project impacts, propose mitigation measures, and support approvals from relevant authorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with an environmental focus, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of national and state-level environmental regulations applicable to water and sanitation infrastructure.
- Experience working on water supply, sewage, or sanitation projects, preferably with public infrastructure or government contracts.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with proficiency in relevant engineering and office software tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in office with multidisciplinary teams and to travel to project locations as required.
