Job Summary

In short, the R&I; Solution Architect role combines solution architecture, operational excellence, governance, automation, observability, and business value measurement. It is a strategic architecture role that goes beyond traditional AEP data design and directly supports the success and scale.

Responsibilities

- Enterprise solution architecture across multiple products, teams, operational models, and business use cases.

- Ability to design scalable frameworks for platform reliability, health monitoring, operational insights, proactive issue detection, and executive visibility.

- Robust understanding of governance architecture, including access visibility, entitlement tracking, auditability, privacy, compliance, and operational accountability.

- Ability to identify gaps between business needs, operational needs, and current product capabilities, then define practical architecture patterns or prototypes to close those gaps.

- Cross-platform Adobe Experience Cloud understanding across AEP, RTCDP, AJO, CJA, Analytics, Workfront, GenStudio, Experience League, and related integrations.

- Ability to translate complex platform signals into meaningful KPIs, value realization metrics, leadership reporting, and decision-ready insights.

- Strong architecture judgment to decide what should be automated, standardized, monitored, governed, or escalated to product/engineering roadmap.

- Technical fluency with data, APIs, reporting, cloud platforms, and integration patterns, without the role being limited to hands-on pipeline engineering.

- Strong technical leadership to influence cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, guide implementation teams, and connect platform capabilities with measurable business outcomes.

We are not looking for traditional AEP DA here. We are looking for solution lead who can guide team, unblock and help R&I; take to next level. Few points to consider...

- A traditional AEP Data Architect is primarily focused on core data architecture areas such as XDM design, datasets, identity strategy, ingestion patterns, data modeling, and activation readiness within AEP.

- The R&I; Solution Architect role is broader and more outcome-driven.

- It focuses on making Adobe on Adobe reliable, governable, observable, automated, measurable, and scalable across teams and products.

- This includes designing solutions for platform health monitoring, data quality, access governance, operational insights, value realization, automation, and proactive issue detection.

- The key difference is that R&I; is not only designing how data flows through AEP. It is designing how the overall Adobe ecosystem operates successfully at enterprise scale.

- R&I; also helps close product gaps where out-of-the-box capabilities may not fully meet Customer Zero needs, while partnering closely with engineering and product teams to influence future roadmap.
