About the Role

Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidyamandir, Dharashiv, is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic English Teacher who can inspire students to develop strong communication skills, a love for literature, and confidence in using the English language.

The ideal candidate will create a positive and engaging classroom environment while nurturing students' academic, social, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Teach English grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and literature effectively.
- Develop students' communication and presentation skills through interactive classroom activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, projects, and other teaching resources.
- Assess students' learning and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, elocution, storytelling, creative writing, reading activities, and other language-related activities.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, inclusive, and student-friendly classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and attendance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding students' progress and development.
- Participate actively in school events, co-curricular activities, assemblies, workshops, and other institutional initiatives.
- Contribute to the overall development and positive culture of the school.

Qualifications & Skills





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per applicable school norms.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good classroom management and lesson-planning abilities.
- Ability to use innovative and activity-based teaching methods.
- Basic proficiency in digital teaching tools and technology.
- A caring, patient, positive, and student-centred approach to teaching.

Experience

- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching are welcome to apply.
- Prior teaching experience in a reputed school will be an added advantage.
