About OZiOZi is a quick-commerce platform focused on making parenting more convenient by delivering kids’ products quickly and reliably. We are building a fast-paced, technology-driven organization and are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our full-stack engineering initiatives.

Role OverviewWe are looking for an Engineering Manager – Full Stack who can lead engineering teams while remaining hands-on with architecture, development, code quality, and delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across backend and frontend development and the ability to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers and drive end-to-end project delivery.
- Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications.
- Own technical architecture and contribute to key engineering decisions.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Review code, establish engineering best practices, and ensure high standards of code quality.
- Drive system design, API development, database design, and application performance.
- Identify technical challenges and proactively drive their resolution.
- Plan sprints, estimate technical efforts, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Monitor application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, collaboration,



and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in software/full-stack development, with relevant experience in engineering leadership or team management.
- Strong hands-on experience in backend and frontend development.
- Proficiency in technologies such as Node.js / Java / Python and React.js / Next.js or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, databases, caching, and distributed systems.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Positive understanding of AWS/GCP/Azure, CI/CD, Git, and cloud-native development.
- Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, performance optimization, and application security.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical projects from conception to production.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Good to Have
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Experience in quick commerce, e-commerce, consumer-tech, or marketplace products.
- Experience working with event-driven architectures and message queues.
- Exposure to observability, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
