We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer – Rebar / BBS with robust hands-on expertise in Bar Bending Schedule (BBS), Rebar Quantity Take-Off, Steel Reconciliation and Wastage Control.
Position : Engineer / Senior Engineer -BBS
Experience: 4–10 Years
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma – Civil Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BBS and rebar quantity take-off from structural drawings.
- Calculate and monitor reinforcement steel requirements and consumption.
- Ensure rebar wastage control and maintain accurate steel reconciliation.
- Verify reinforcement works at site as per approved drawings and BBS.
- Maintain steel yard records and monitor rebar stock.
- Prepare quantities and measurements for subcontractor bills.
- Prepare BOQ for variations / extra reinforcement works.
- Prepare monthly rebar procurement plans based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with Client / Consultant and obtain BBS approvals.
- Raise RFIs and provide technical support to site teams.
- Maintain project documentation and quantity records.
