- Collect the design advice from marketing and a) Ensure the hard soft copy of part drawing, b) Ensure the no of cavity details, c). Component material detail, d).Design estimated hours
- Collect the macro plan from planning
- Designer should arrange the project file with all design formats, like a).Design input verification sheet, b).Design review sheet.c).Design monitoring chart
- Designer should analyze the draft & ensure the parting line in part model and part drawing study for component surface finish detail, cavity ID, type of gate & location details
- Start the concept design & complete the concept in target date.
- After completing the concept, review to be conducted with Assembly & moulding departments.
- 3D model & part drawing check list will be prepared & ensured the same.
- Purchase requestion for Insert material, drawings for mould base quote, standard items to be sent to purchase.
- Complete mould design drawings to be released to planning & soft copy to be saved in Final design folder.
- Design monitoring chart & log entry to be filled every day
