Responsible for executing and supervising all architectural and finishing activities at project sites, ensuring quality, safety, adherence to drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Role & responsibilities
Execution & Site Management
- Execute finishing works including masonry, plastering, flooring, tiling, false ceiling, painting, waterproofing, doors, windows and facade-related activities.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams for timely completion of finishing activities.
- Ensure availability of materials, manpower and equipment required for execution.
Quality Management
- Ensure finishing works comply with project quality standards and approved methodologies.
- Conduct inspections and resolve quality issues during execution.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, mock-ups and approvals.
Planning & Coordination
- Prepare daily and weekly work plans.
- Track progress against project schedules.
- Coordinate with MEP, structural and architectural teams to avoid execution conflicts.
Billing & Measurement
- Verify subcontractor measurements and bills.
- Maintain records of work completed and support project billing activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and EHS regulations.
- Participate in safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Report unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
Documentation
- Maintain site records, DPRs, progress reports and material consumption records.
- Monitor RFIs, inspection requests and site instructions related to finishing works.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering Experience
- 3 to 8 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finishing works.
