Were looking for a Product Owner to support delivery for our partner integration platform, working closely with the Product Manager to refine and groom user stories for API-based connector development. This role translates business requirements into clear, dev-ready stories and acceptance criteria, partnering closely with development teams, business analysts, and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Groom and refine user stories in partnership with the Product Manager, ensuring they are explicit, testable, and dev-ready
2. Translate complex API integration requirements into well-defined acceptance criteria
3. Lead or co-lead grooming sessions, surfacing technical decisions, edge cases, and open questions before dev starts 4.Work with development and Scrum master to identify and help resolve blockers and dependencies
5.Support connector delivery planning across multiple client environments
6.Maintain documentation standards for scope, mediation paths, and technical specifications
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and client-facing teams
Required Skills
1. Strong technical understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and system-to-system integration patterns
2. Ability to read and interpret API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI) and translate them into actionable stories
3. Excellent analytical skills — able to break down complex, multi-system workflows into structured requirements
4. Experience with Agile/Scrum ceremonies, particularly backlog grooming/refinement
5. Strong written communication skills for producing structured technical documentation
6. Healthcare payer/provider domain knowledge a plus (claims, eligibility, provider data, billing) Tools: JIRA/Azure DevOps, Microsoft Word/Excel, API testing tools (Postman or similar).
