Electronics Engineer Motor Controller & Inverter

Role Overview

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience in circuit analysis, schematic review, prototype development, testing, debugging, and circuit improvement for motor controller and inverter controller products. The role will primarily focus on understanding and enhancing existing circuit designs rather than developing completely current circuits from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand motor controller and inverter controller circuits, product requirements, and control-system requirements to ensure circuit compliance with functional and performance specifications.
- Review existing schematics, circuit designs, component specifications, and electrical interfaces, and identify opportunities for circuit modification, optimization, and improvement.
- Perform circuit analysis, design verification, circuit validation, and change reviews to ensure reliability, functionality, and performance of electronic products.
- Modify and improve existing circuit designs based on product requirements, testing results, failure analysis, and identified performance issues.
- Develop and build prototype samples, including coordination for PCB assembly, component mounting, inspection, and sample preparation.
- Conduct unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, and electrical validation of prototype and development samples.
- Debug circuit and hardware issues identified during testing, perform root-cause analysis, and implement appropriate circuit modifications or corrective actions.




- Work closely with the PCB Design Engineer for PCB layout and artwork activities, providing circuit inputs, design changes, component requirements, and electrical validation support.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and assembly suppliers during prototype and sample builds to address PCB assembly, component mounting, inspection, and electronics-related issues.
- Support new product introduction and mass-production readiness, including production testing, hardware debugging, inspection-condition validation, and resolution of electronics-related production issues.
- Collaborate with R&D;, PCB Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and supplier teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth product development and production.

Technical Requirements
- Good understanding of digital and analog control circuits and electronic circuit fundamentals.
- Knowledge of power electronics, motor control, inverter control, gate-driver circuits, sensing circuits, feedback circuits, and protection circuits.
- Experience in schematic reading, circuit analysis, circuit modification, hardware debugging, and electrical validation.
- Hands-on experience in prototype build, PCB assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and circuit-level problem solving.
- Understanding of electronic components, their specifications, selection criteria, and application in control and power circuits.
- Exposure to motor controllers, inverter controllers, EV power electronics, or similar electronic control products will be an added advantage.
