Role Description The Electrical Technician role is a full-time, in office position based in Hubli-Dharwad.

The Electrical

Technician will perform routine electrical maintenance on conveyors, filtration systems, and related industrial equipment, ensuring reliable and safe operation on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, and testing electrical components, wiring, and control panels,



as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults and performing corrective repairs. The role involves working closely with mechanical and production teams to support equipment commissioning, preventive maintenance schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Electrical

Technician will also maintain accurate maintenance records, follow safety and compliance standards, and support upgrades or modifications to electrical systems as required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and working with Electrical Equipment in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electricity and basic electrical safety practices for shop floor operations.
- Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing electrical faults and resolving equipment issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess a foundation in Electrical Engineering principles applicable to installation, testing, and repair of industrial systems.
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant certifications in industrial electrical or automation are an advantage.
- Experience with conveyor systems, motors, control panels, and PLC-based controls is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation, and to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
